From the Beginning

My photography interest started in college and grew into the neighborhood on the upper west side. My brother who was a musician, saw my talent and introduced me to a friend that worked for the local weekly New York Amsterdam News. Gene Gillis wrote as a music critic and I was tasked to follow him around town to photograph events that he would critique.
